2nd. Day: LIMA
Breakfast. It will take you 03 hours to travel into the past to XVI century. You will visit Lima colonial enchantments: the Main Square located up today in the same area assigned by Francisco Pizarro, founder of Lima in 1535; the Cathedral, the Government Palace, we recommended you to attend the change of guard (daily at 11:45), the San Francisco Monastery, with its beautiful cloister and entrance, as well as the underground galleries or catacombs which were used as cemeteries during the Colony Period. We will appreciate then the Huaca Pucllana. Then you will travel back to the XX century visiting modern districts with beautiful squares, as well as Miraflores with its beautiful beaches, intensive commercial trading and active nightlife. You will visit the Square of Love. It has a big sculpture representing a ¨Couple of Andean lovers ¨. with a great view of the Pacific Ocean.
3rd. Day: LIMA / CUSCO
Breakfast. At required time transfer from hotel to airport to board the flight to Cusco. At your arrival, reception at Velasco Astete Airport and transfer to selected hotel. Lodging. Free morning to get acclimatized to the 3 360 m.a.s.l.
In the afternoon, City Tour in Cusco walking through the Cathedral which its exterior and interior frontage is in renacentist style. Inside, you will find beautiful cedar wood statues, like the chorus and the Pulpit, as well as the paintings of Cusco School, and some objects made of silver. You will also visit the Qorikancha or Sun Temple; nowadays is the Santo Domingo Church. Then you will go to the four surrounding ruins like The Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q´enqo, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.
4th. Day: CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Breakfast. Full day excursion to Machupicchu archeological complex, located in a subtropical Cusco area at 2 350 m.a.s.l.
Transfer from your hotel to the train station to start your guided visit. You will see the marvelous Machupicchu Citadel where you will walk trough its squares, temples, terraces, worship centers and its Royal Palace. You will also visit the “Intiwatana” or Solar Clock and several beautiful natural water fountains on rock carved. It includes lunch.
In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train followed by a reception and transfer to your hotel.
5th. Day: CUSCO / PUNO
Breakfast. At required time, transfer from hotel to the train station. At your arrival at Juliaca train station, you will be transferred to the selected hotel in Puno city. Lodging. Nightfree.
6th. Day: PUNO / LA PAZ
Breakfast. At 06:30 approximately (Peruvian time), Transfer in bus from your hotel to La Paz accompanied for a skilled guide during all the tour. You will visit typical towns like July, Pomata, Yunguyo-Casani and Copacabana, visiting the Cathedral and the Main Square. You will board the Catamaran Cruise ship. Lunch included. You will sail through Titikaka´s Lake to visit the famous Sun Island, the Garden and the Inca time terraces. We will cross through the Tikina´s strait to arrive at Chua harbor where we will take the bus to go to the selected hotel in La Paz. You will arrive at 18:30 (Bolivian time).Lodging. Night free.
7th. Day: LA PAZ
Breakfast. In the morning, visit to La Paz city at 3 800 m.a.s.l. You will go to its typical artisan market, the San Francisco colonial church, witchcraft market, Murillo Square where the Government Palace, the Cathedral and the National Congress located on Jaen Street with 04 interesting museums followed by the outdoors museum of the Tiwanaku culture. Then a visit to the residential zones of Obrajes, Colocoto and La Florida. Finally, you will go to the De La Luna Valley. Free afternoon. At night, we suggest you to enjoy the folkloric show to appreciate its typical dances and its colorful costume.
8th. Day: LA PAZ
Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the Tiwanaku Ruins, the capital of a civilization that appeared around the year 700 BC located at 72 kms from La Paz City. During its apogee the capital of Tiwanaku was the biggest of the world considered as the Origin of the American Civilization. These pre-inca ruins were the beginning of endless archeological debates about its antiquity. According to the last radio Carbon test, had shown that it has 1580 years BC of antiquity.
9th. Day: LA PAZ /......
